My friend just moved into a place and the other tenant is rather ignorant as to his elderly dogs ailments. The worst of which I can see is a really bad, gooey, green, wet eye infection.
I am indigent due to chronic illness myself and have no money to do anything for him that way, but I happen to have collected bottles of various antibiotics some exp. some not. Can any of these help him?
What else can I do for him? Its killing me to have to leave him like this.

500 mg. tetracycline exp. sept. 07
about 5 biaxin pills

i will have to look for the rest.
But what can I do right now?

Aaaaw poor dog. If it is "just" an infection and not cherry eye, I use topical eye antibiotics, not oral antibiotics.

I don't know about the pills you have there, never heard of them. If I have to use oral antibiotics, I use mostly Amoxicillin.

Other than that, keep the eye clean by washing it with warm clear water.

If the owner is a real ignorant person, you might want to consider calling animal control and have him "educated" a bit with a verbal warning and order to take the dog to the vet.
