I decided to apply for a new job last week, and as a result*, my trainer has decided to move Kaylee's PAT (Public Access Test) up. This is one of three things remaining that she needs to complete her training (she needs to get her final health checks and some paperwork done as well) and graduate from a service dog in training to a full certified SD. So sometime in the next month, Kaylee will be testing out and graduating if all goes like it should. :)

*Why did she decide to do this? Kaylee's task work has been well established for a while, we've just been fine-tuning some public access manners (ie, not being a flirt and getting distracted by people talking to her and squeaking at her.). In my current job, I've got accomodations that mean Kaylee does not come to work with me, but I work very few hours and this new job is significantly higher stress and more hours- if I'm going to ask for the accomodation, I'm on MUCH stronger ground with a certified SD than a dog who will be certified soon.
