I had brought the other kittens to the shelter for adoption. 12 hours later I
got 3 of these lol. Very very healthy and clean, for a change:

Oh geez, it looks like Olliver is becoming the next Butters with cats. They both seem to LOVE kittens so much!! :D

Ya, but once Butters turned 4 and officially an adult, he doesn't want to have
anything to do with the babies. I hope Olliver doesn't turn 'adult' on us lol,
even though I could use him to be less rambunctious lol. If he gets going
there is no stopping him and I don't like that. I need to have to be able to
control such a big dog.
We took them both out today with the bicycles, drove about 10 miles and
then walked all 3 (the lil is too old for such long rides) for another couple
of miles. Guess who's pooped and who's not :rolling .

Since they are scratching up my hand so badly at this age when I hold them
while bottle feeding, I am doing it the easy way lol. See that 3 story cage? I got
that from the shelter. Somebody donated it to them and they didn't have
room for it, so I got it. I can't tell you what all grew up in that cage..it has
been a blessing!

*melts* Every time I see these pictures I'm sorely tempted to try and become an animal rehabilitator. I think it would be worth it just to see all the little critters happy and healthy.
I think I'll sleep on that for a while before making such a huge decision. ><

Such cute kitties. They will grow up to be very beautiful cats. I doubt they will be without a family for long.

Ya they'll be alright. Yesterday I trapped 6 cats and brought them to the
shelter. They belong to my neighbor and she wanted to 'get rid' of them..
meaning her hubby was going to shoot them.
5 of the 6 were calicos, all pregnant! There is still one left to catch, but she's
too smart to go into the trap, cuz she was in there yesterday and escaped
when I tried to move her into a crate.
All the calicos have already a home. They will be spayed (with an abortion).
It's that time of year where the shelter is empty and adult cats have a
chance too, so I'm feeding the strays all summer long and then catch them
during fall and winter and bring them in. I still have 4 other strays here that
eat the hair off my head and hopefully can catch them too, lol.
