Stray Cats in Cuba!

Long story short, I was in Cuba for a week on vacation, and at the hotel I was staying at, there were a lot of strays hanging around.

Mind you, these are of the most well-fed strays I've ever seen, heh. They won't eat anything except meat, and I never saw any visible ribs. Even the kittens I saw were in pretty good health!

Anyway, I figured these pictures would be interesting for everyone to see. :D On a few occasions my mother and I brought food to the area where most of them hang out, so I got swarmed once or twice.

I'm gonna miss these cats. :'( They were so friendly and affectionate, even when I didn't have food. Well, I hope you all find these interesting! ^^

Oh yeah, they have a great life there! Tourists feed them and the workers just ignore them instead of trying to run them out. I guess they don't mind the serious lack of mice and lizards in the place.

I saw a fair amount of stray dogs too. Even though none were in the hotel, they were all in decent health as well. They don't get harassed or abused by people which is a relief, but I assume they don't get as well-fed as the cats. :(
