Did you know that cats view people as parents or children that need help?? They actually feel compelled to bring us food! In hindsight, kitty is trying to do his share for the family. Cats also have a natural desire to store food for “rainy days”.

What do you think about that statement? Makes sense to me!

I agree with the statement. I've had way too many cats that think they need to bring me a lovely gift, their recent mouse catch. I even had one that brought me a lizard when we lived in Arizona. They always look so proud when they drop it at your feet. lol

I know how that is, WingedCat! Our cat Sasha used to bring us back all sorts of critters... the most interesting present I ever received from a cat though, was when Graffiti brought me back a huge dragonfly. She looked quite satisfied.
