I received a call a couple of hours ago from one of the kids around here. He said he was at a junkyard and there is this kitten screaming from an old rusty tractor.

I rushed to the place and it took us a while, but eventually we got her out. She's about ten days old, just starting to open her eyes and she's in good shape..no dehydration or anything. She was just terribly hungry.

I think I'll call her Tractor Tracy hehehe:

awww, she's so cute, they grow up so fast, salt and pepper now look more and more like adult cats, I remember when I got them, they looked so inocent and helpless. Now they do almost everthing on their own.

and we have a newcomer, but she won't stay long. Her name is Leonna:

That lil witch will NOT tolerate the lil one for the life of her. If I'd leave her alone with Tractor Tracy, she'd get seriously hurt! That's a first! Kittens ALWAYS get along. Even though Leonna is about 2 weeks older, she still shouldn't act this way.

I will bring her to the shelter tomorrow and see if she at all can be put with the other kittens, if not I'll have to take her back home and find her a single cat home somewhere. Kittens, I tell ya LOL.

how cute do they look? awww, around here the dog also babysits both salt & pepper since they were a month old. Salt & the dog have very close bond now, they even eat from the same plate, both dog and cat food, the two of them, is so funny. I have to negociate with the dog so she would not eat cat food.

Our cat Gustave always eats from the dog's bowl. Sometimes they'll eat together, hehe. Other times, the dog will wait until he's done before she eats. :S

My cats did that too, eating from the dogs' bowls. Then I learned that it can be highly dangerous to the cats to eat dog food, so I made sure that that doesn't happen anymore. I forgot why tho..I think it had something to do with the kidneys.

Hmm, I heard about that as well, which is why I push him away from the dog food when I see it. We did snap a picture of them eating together though.

Well, lets see it! lol

Tractor Tracy was just adopted out, 1 success, 7 to go! And boy are those 7 a handful! I actually had to separate them, because they are suckling on each other, which makes 'em pee all over each other and I can't keep bathing them few times every day.

And I never, NEVER had a litter that pooped that much hahaha!:k0320:
