I feed cheese to my dog...i just heard that cheese is bad for dogs....like chocolate.....is that true at all???

It's not as bad as chocolate, but it contains fats and lactose since it's made from milk, and milk can cause diarrhea. I NEVER give my dogs people food, unless it's meat and not spiced.

thanks...i didn't think it was as bad as chocolate....she gets a little cheese in her kong as a brain tease after she gets fed. Before the new and improved Anabell, cheese was her only motivator....she now loves liver snaps....but mostly praise!

That sounds great to me! I buy these beggin strips and cut them into small pieces for treats and of course rawhide bones.

I gave Olliver and Kicker a fingertip worth of peanutbutter yesterday, check it out:

We have given all of our dogs cheese and have never seen ill effects. If they need to take pills we always put it in cheese and they take it very willingly.

Classic on the peanut butter! Oddly enough, all of my cats have enjoyed a smidgen of peanut butter as well. Kaylee doesn't like it very much, to my dismay. :P
