I just got this email and want to share it with you. Take action!

Hi! I just sent an email to Secretary of the Interior Gale Norton to urge her to do her job to protect and recover America's gray wolf.

Just weeks ago, Secretary Norton transferred responsibility for wolf management in central Idaho from the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service over to the state of Idaho - a state that, in 2001, passed a memorandum calling for the eradication of wolves in Idaho "by any means necessary."

Please join me in standing up for wolves today! Go to the website below to send your message:

it's terrible the way they talk about wolves, as if they were still such a threat to people. have there even been any attacks on humans by healthy wolves in America lately? the only thing that wolves need to stay away from is livestock, and there are obvious things a farmer can do to keep them out.

i'd be more worried about cougars....even in michigan, cougars are starting to kill horses, and i'm just hoping they'll try to seperate the two before deciding to kill off all the cougars. it's not like we have that many anyway.

i sent a message already, and it's a pretty cool organization. maybe we could put links to each others' sites.

I have never seen an article in the news about a wolf attacking a human,
unless the wolf was kept as a pet and deprived of his natural spirit.

Cougars are not protected here and I know somebody who brags about
hunting them, and opposums and squirrels and coons and whatnot. One
person I can do without, yuck!
