The following pictures are a few of the about 300 orphaned fosterkittens I
raised for the local animal shelter in the past 4 years:

The first two little grey one's look just like the one I have. The one that keeps sucking on my neck. The only difference is the eye color. Little Girl's eyes are more yellow

The mom of these kittens was a Blue Russian, I had them in fostercare to
raise for the Humane Society. They all had a very sweet temperament :).

My cats! ..this may be long.
To entertain you, here are some pics along with a (hopefully) brief biography of each...

First, there is my precious baby doll, officially named Graffiti. She was adopted from my friend's household (her cat gave birth to a lovely litter of three). Adopted her at 8 weeks, and she turned 4 in July. She spends a lot of time sitting in my lap whenever I am sitting down, and always sleeps in my bed at night. She has a pleasant meow, so it's nice to wake up to her chirruping in the morning, hehe.

Next up is Smokie, who was rescued as a 6 month old kitten by my stepdad, who found him about 5 or 6 years ago hanging around his workplace. When it came time to leave that night, he couldn't simply leave him, so he brought him home instead! :D I don't have any pictures of Smokie now, but they are coming soon! He's all black, save for two patches of white on his abdomen that makes it look as though he's wearing a bikini. :rolling

Well, those are my cats.. I did have two other cats, who unfortunately passed away, so I will post about them in the appropriate section. :)

More pics coming soon! (Thanks for reading this long post, hehe)

Thanks for sharing about your cats! Graffiti is gorgeous! :)

Wow, 18 years is a very proud age. My 3 cats are 4 years old and the one
that came with the house is 10. All are leukemic, so I don't expect them to
get this old.

My husband is the cat person of the house and the cats own him lol.

My husband is the cat person of the house and the cats own him lol.

Yeah, that's usually the case, hehe. :D
I agree, 18 is a pretty good age, considering the average is 15 (I think).. I don't know too many cats who have lived past that, though my friend has a cat who is 22. She yawns and it's like looking death in the face.

Those pictures you posted are incredibly cute, by the way! *gushes*

Kittens with attitude :smt004

lilly currently cannot purr, but Seb purrs as soon as you pick him up.
I have no idea why Lilly cannot purr at this current time, but i suspect Lilly is slightly younger than Seb. not sure.

thanks for reading and looking. =]
take care everyone

Absolutely adorable!!!! I have 4 cats and one never purrs. I don't think it's
a matter of can or cannot, it's just not every cat's thing. Some purr loud
and some purr so low that you can't hear them.

Yes, the majority of cats do purr. I only encountered it 3 times so far that
a kitten did not purr.

I had one kitten that was attacked by a dog and had his leg bitten off..it
looked so horrible, but the lil bugger was purring up a storm.

Yes, it should be the law! Always 2 of a kind or more, never one kitten or
one puppy by itself! They so much want to be with their own kind. If they
only have humans to relate to they can get royally confused lol.

Those 2 gray kittens look just like one of my 1st kitten! He was only 4 weeks old and the runt of litter. We couldn't tell his sex--thought was a girl--ended up being a boy named Misty!

I think everybody has such cute kitties! :smt007

Here are my girls, Maxie (calico) and Sammy.

Aieee!! Cute kittens! :D I remember when Graffiti figured out how to rip up her food bag. -.-' My mother and I had to firmly lock it inside a cupboard, or else she would open up the cupboard, drag out the bag, and tear an opening into it. :rolling

My previous cat, Misty< was ALWAYS hungry--think he had an eating disorder--poor baby never got full. We had to put a bugie cord around plastic cat food container to keep him out of it!

Hehehe Maxie has got that "It wasn't me mom, I didn't do nuffin" look.

Yeah Maxi your halo is crooked. lol
