Right after reading the news story I tried to look up the shelter on petfinder, with no results. Did they not have a page until yours with your foster animals went up? I would certainly be interested in helping with the overcrowding caused by the raid, (though texas to NE missoui may be too far for them to outsource comfortably) if I could see what range of breeds they need socialized and placed.

You are right, they didn't have a page. They don't even have a computer.

Those dogs are beyond help, I was told. They have severe mange and need to be euthanized, so the vet said. Most of them anyways. Something about they have to wait for 2 weeks and until the judge decides if the woman gets three of them back at all, and I have to admit I didn't understand it all and I didn't want to bug them with more questions..they had their hands full.

I'm just trying to help without butting in too much, because I did that when I was new in town and burned my fingers badly.

Anyways, the manager told me to hold off with looking for help for the dogs for another 2 weeks and she promised me not to euthanize any of them before she gave me a chance to place them. We'll see how that plays out.

Right now I'm too afraid to go outside and check my roof, cuz we had some a serious storm coming through here, lots of rescues and evacuations going on, hail, tornado, flooding..the whole nine yards.
