I live in Indiana and and a licensed wildlife rehabilitator and also do a lot of other rescue work. I was a member of the forum about a year ago and then due to some computer issues lost all the info. So I found it again and can't wait to get back on. This site sure could have been helpful with our Opossom babies this summer/fall.
My sister and I breed and show several different breeds of bunny rabbits as well so I always love talking about bunnies as well as wildlife and dogs/cats. I also have a hamster, a pair of gerbils, and a few other assorted creatures. ![]() |

A few pictures of the zoo!
This is Bailey my female gerbil. She likes to nibble you if you hold her too long. http://i412.photobucket.com/albums/p...s/IMG_6673.jpg A few of our chickens from earlier this summer. Their names are Heathery Hen, Puff, Wooly Bear, Little Dos, and Chicken (my dad named this one). http://i412.photobucket.com/albums/p...s/IMG_5824.jpg And here is one of my Flemish Giant doe. She is only about 6 months in this picture. The bunny right behind me is Cocoa. The kitties are Lollipop, Confetti and Mr Buttons. http://i412.photobucket.com/albums/p...s/IMG_6215.jpg We do breed the bunnies and this picture was taken in our bunny barn. Our bunnies are always held and loved all the time. They get time out of their cage on a regular basis. In the summer they get to play outside in a large playyard. They are our pets as well as being bred. We don't make any money from them they don't even support themselves. We focus on breeding for temperment as well as striving to keep the breed according to the standards. I will have to get some pictures of the dogs up under the dogs section. But this is a few of the creatures who live here anyway. |
